FAQ
- We would like to stop by, what are your hours?
Without an appointment, we always recommend to call ahead first. Our general office hours are M-Th from 1pm – 9pm and Saturdays from 10am – 4pm. Staff members are sometimes here “after/before hours” so we may be available if you need to drop something off. Again, we suggest calling first.
- Can we see a live demo of your sound system prior to booking?
Absolutely yes! As part of our consultation, we offer a live demonstration of the sound system our DJs use. It wouldn’t be fair to make you wait until your wedding day to know the quality of the sound system your DJ has.
- When choosing a DJ… Are we limited to meeting with one DJ at a time?
No. We offer “Meet the DJ Night,” a client only event where you are invited to meet over a dozen of our award winning DJs all in one night. Admit One DJs won’t require you to drive all over town to meet each of our DJs at different times or make you choose the person you sign with when you meet with us.
- We saw your building/your booth at the expo. You guys look expensive, are you?
No. Typically our clients spend less than the average cost of what most professional DJs in the Chicago area charge. Our goal is to offer the greatest value for your dollar than any other DJ service.
- Do you have insurance?
Yes we do. You should always ask to see copy of the certificate of liability with any DJ service before you sign, (you have the right to ask). You shouldn’t feel pressured to just take their word, you don’t want to wind up regretting it. Everyday, more and more reception halls are requiring wedding vendors to carry insurance before they enter the premises.
- What other services do you offer?
In addition to wedding DJ services for your reception and music for ceremonies, we also offer lighting for your dance floor, video montage services, photo booth services, back-drop/pipe and drape, up-lighting and custom “name in lights” monogram services.
- What are your packages?
Instead of deciding amongst a sometimes daunting menu of “Packages,” at Admit One DJs you can customize/mix and match any of our services to get exactly what you want. You won’t be forced to upgrade to the next “level” just to get “that one feature” you wanted and end up paying for upgrades you don’t need.
“Package” pricing is useful in some instances but when it comes to determining the cost of an important service, we feel “Packaging” is an attempt to oversimplify your individual needs and tastes whereby you are reduced to one of 3 or 4 “types.”
At Admit One DJs, we understand most Brides and Grooms have very diverse taste and entertainment style when selecting their DJ service. We welcome the opportunity to get to know you and what you are looking for, then we can offer our services specifically tailored to your individual needs and budget. This does take a bit of time and effort but we feel you are well worth it!
